A high-profile Queensland NRL and State of Origin star has been accused of rape.
9NEWS Queensland reports the allegations were made after police attended the player’s residence with a woman on Tuesday night.
It’s understood the woman then made a formal complaint to police.
The player is believed to be contracted to a Queensland NRL club and is also a State of Origin star.
The shocking revelation comes on the eve of the NRL’s premier sell-out Magic Round event in Brisbane this weekend.
