Michael ‘Venom’ Page will fight Yaroslav Amosov for the Bellator welterweight title in one of the biggest fights in British MMA history this spring.

Page fights for a world title for the first time in his 10-year professional career when he takes on the undefeated Ukrainian at Wembley’s SSE Arena on 13 May.

The Londoner has just one defeat on his record, a shock knockout defeat to Douglas Lima in 2019.

Page avenged that defeat and set up his title shot with a spit decision win over the Brazilian last October.

Page has fought and won six times since that sole defeat with four of those coming via knockout.

Amosov meanwhile has quickly risen to the summit of Bellator’s welterweight ranks since signing for the promotion in 2017.

The 28-year-old took the title from Lima in June 2021 becoming the Ukraine’s first world champion in a major MMA promotion.

At 26-0, he holds the longest active winning streak in MMA, second only to the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov.

May’s showdown in London will be his first defence of the title.
