NYC Mayor Eric Adams Berated on Plane Over Israel Support: ‘F*ck You! You’re Always Partying!’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) was berated on a plane by a pro-Palestinian flyer who accused the Democrat of supporting “genocide” in Gaza.
Video spread on social media this week of the encounter between Adams and the activist. A woman holding a phone walks down the aisle of a plane and asks the mayor if he’s Eric Adams. The wide-eyed mayor is then given a vulgar tirade in which she admonishes him for his support of Israel and for flying to Miami.
The mayor was on his way back from Miami after attending the 2024 Concordia Americas Summit where he spoke about the migrant crisis in New York City. Adams has raised alarms about the amount of resources being utilized to deal with migrants bused into the city from red states like Texas.
“Fuck you!” the woman yelled at Adams. “You support the genocide in Palestine! There are homeless people all over New York, yet you’re always partying!”
She went on to accuse Adams of only caring about “funding the police” and not dealing with the city’s homeless.
“Why are you even in Miami? You know there are people being arrested there? People are homeless in New York. People cannot afford food,” she said. “You keep cutting the education budget so that you can fund the police. That’s all you care about, funding the police. Everything is underfunded because of you.”
The woman eventually made her way past the mayor as passengers began to gripe and one said, “you’re holding the line!”
The video was taken Monday evening as the mayor was flying back to New York City after attending the Miami conference that same day.
The mayor’s office noted that others on the plane also recognized Adams and “expressed their opinions of support for the mayor.”
Tensions in New York over the Israel-Hamas war have increased in recent days with the ongoing Columbia University protest where hundreds are occupying an encampment. Dozens of demonstrators, including the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), were taken into custody by police last week.
Adams previously condemned the “antisemitism being spewed at and around the Columbia University campus,” warning police will follow through with arrests.
Longtime New Yorker and outspoken Democrat Alec Baldwin was also recently confronted on video by an Israel critic. The women confronted the actor in a coffee shop and demanded Baldwin say, “free Palestine,” to get her to leave him alone. The encounter got so intense Baldwin eventually smacked the woman’s phone.
