Kate Middleton goes glam on ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ premiere red carpet

Kate Middleton is black and white and all over the red carpet.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined husband Prince William at the London premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick” on Thursday, dressed in a sleek and simple black Roland Mouret gown with a white off-the-shoulder neckline.

Middleton, 40, accessorized with an Alexander McQueen clutch and diamond drop earrings, while William, 39, wore a midnight blue velvet McQueen tuxedo jacket and black pants.

The duchess styled her hair straight with a middle part to complement the modern look.

The royal couple posed with “Top Gun” leading man Tom Cruise, who opted for a Brioni tux, and greeted the film’s stars Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Miles Teller.

The last high-profile movie premiere the Cambridges attended was for the James Bond flick “No Time to Die” in 2021, where Middleton dazzled in a glittering gold Jenny Packham cape dress.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were at the same event last year, but appear to have skipped out on the “Top Gun” red carpet.

Middleton, meanwhile, has attended a slew of public events lately, including Wednesday’s Buckingham Palace royal garden party, a fashion awards ceremony at London’s Design Museum earlier this month and a tribute to the victims of 2017’s Manchester Arena terrorist attack.
