A Labor MP who rode to Parliament on a wave of support for Mark McGowan has hit back at claims he is unavailable to his constituents, claiming he had “created” more than $75 million in local infrastructure.

A tenant in the same building as Carine MP Paul Lilburne’s electorate office told The West that the office was kept locked from the public — who had to communicate through an intercom — and that the MP was rarely seen.
