Man killed as Suzuki motorbike rider crashes on Tonkin Highway in Perth

The rider died at the scene.

A man has died in a motorbike crash on a Perth highway.

The Suzuki motorcycle, with an attached sidecar, was travelling north on Tonkin Hwy in Kewdale about 9.45am on Monday when tragedy struck.

The 77-year-old rider died at the scene.

Police did not say how the fatal incident unfolded, but the Major Crash unit is investigating.
