Gisele Bündchen was apparently “deeply disappointed” by the slew of jokes about her divorce and her new relationship during Netflix’s Tom Brady roast Sunday night.

In what was billed as an exclusive, People quoted a source close to Bündchen saying the supermodel was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show.”

The same source told the magazine that Bündchen’s immediate focus was on supporting her children, who were “affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted.”

Brady and Bündchen, who married in 2009, had two children together, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11. Brady also has another son, Jack, 16, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Many of the jokes from Sunday night’s Brady roast involved Bündchen and her reported new relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who later made a second unprintable joke about Bündchen, chided Brady for letting the supermodel slip away.

“Tom Brady. Five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns. You have seven rings — well, eight, now that Gisele gave hers back,” Glaser said. “The only thing dumber than saying yes to this roast was when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu.’”

“RoastMaster General” Jeff Ross referenced Velante as well, in addition to making a sexually explicit reference to Gisele in an earlier joke.

“Give it up for the Lord of the Super Bowl Rings, my friend Tom Brady,” Ross said. “A man who has so many rings he could melt them down and forge a sword to go on a quest to get Gisele back from that jiu-jitsu teacher.”

Roast host Kevin Hart, meanwhile, clowned on Brady for trading his marriage and family for a final mediocre season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Gisele gave you an ultimatum. Gisele said, ‘You retire or we’re done,’” Hart said. “Lemme tell you something: When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it’ll cost you is your wife and kids, you gotta do what the f*** you gotta do.”

At the end of the three-hour event, Brady alluded to all the jokes about his divorce, while minimizing his ex-wife with a joke of his own.

“There’s been a lot of jokes tonight, but the truth is I miss the love of my life,” Brady said, pausing for effect before delivering the punchline. “Football.”

Gisele’s new boyfriend?

Gisele Bündchen attended the IWC Schaffhausen Live Talk on Dec. 8, 2023, in Miami Beach, Florida.

After splitting up, both Brady and Bundchen have been the subject of tabloid speculation about new relationships.

Rumors that Brady was dating supermodel Irina Shayk first cropped up in July 2023. Unfounded rumors also linked Brady with Kim Kardashian, who dispelled them from the stage at the roast on Sunday.

Bundchen, meanwhile, has consistently been linked with Velante. She began taking lessons with Valente in December 2021, and the pair were photographed together as early as 2022. Glamour reported that the pair began dating in June 2023 after starting as “great friends.”

In an interview with the New York Times, Bundchen confirmed she was in a new relationship, but did not name her new beau.

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” Bundchen said. “It’s very different. It’s very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
