Why It Matters: Scaramucci’s prediction comes amid legal challenges faced by Trump, who is currently on trial over accusations of manipulating business documents to disrupt the 2016 election process.

Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, had previously expressed her concerns about the dwindling Republican fortunes nationwide, attributing it to Trump. She had warned about the potential consequences of Trump's nomination for the party ticket in the upcoming November elections, stating that Trump cannot secure a general election victory in states like Colorado, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Despite Haley’s withdrawal, recent election polls have shown a close race between Trump and current President Joe Biden, with both being the frontrunners and betting favorites for the November election.
