Last night Zendaya kicked off the press tour of her latest movie, Challengers, by attending the film's first premiere in Sydney, Australia. But alongside introducing us to a new film, she also took the opportunity to debut a brand new hair colour.
The actress traded in the rich espresso brown lob we've seen from her last couple of appearances (at the tennis with her boyfriend, Tom Holland, and at the Oscars) and instead gave us a hair colour that's serving actual money.
Her strands were transformed into an antique penny blonde colour that replicates the dimension and tone of a one-pence coin. Blending a delicate balance of mid blonde, light brunette, soft gold and bronze, the shade offered a lifted colour that's perfect for sunnier spring days. Plus, the tone helped add a gorgeous golden-hour glow and warmth to Zendaya's complexion.
For anyone with dark hair looking to lighten it for the new season, this pretty all-rounder shade offers inspo for a shade that's light and bright, without the damage that a drastic blonde colour change can incur. It's also a stunning option for brighter blondes looking to ease up on the peroxide and move toward a more natural bronde colour.
Zendaya styled her hair in a dainty, lose chignon with the front side-swept and curled toward her ear – and some gentle volume teased at the crown. She kept her makeup radiant and glowing with fresh skin and a glossy pink lip, but matched her sultry metallic green eyeshadow to her shimmering green Loewe dress – complete with the silhouette of a tennis player taking a shot with their racket, in homage to her role as former tennis pro, Tashi Duncan, in her new film.
It's another sensational serve from Zendaya in more ways than one, and we'd expect nothing less.
