‘You’re Such a F*cking Imbecile!’ Jason Kelce Reveals He Lost His Super Bowl Ring in a Pool of a Chili at Live Taping of Podcast

Retired NFL center Jason Kelce may have lost his Super Bowl ring for good after including it in a contest at a recent live taping of his podcast.

Last week, Jason and his brother Travis Kelce went to the University of Cincinnati — their alma mater — for an episode of New Heights. In addition to a surprise graduation ceremony, the brothers took advantage of being in front of a live audience and spiced things up with a series of games.

One of those games had contestants fishing for socks in kiddie pools filled with chili. Inside the socks were replica Super Bowl rings. The game is a reference to the fact that Jason, who won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles, keeps his actual ring rolled up in a sock and stashed away in his wardrobe.

Considering Jason’s apparent lack of care for the ring, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he included it in the contest. The only issue is that no one found it during or after the contest.

“This game existed because I continually lose my Super Bowl ring,” Jason said on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, “and I don’t even know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event. They could not find it.”

Travis simply shook his head in disgust as Jason brought up a photo of a man digging through the pools to try to find the ring.

“This is Jets Jake and intern Brandon the next day searching through the chili to try and find the sock that had my Super Bowl ring in it. We have still yet to find it. All of this stuff has been thrown away, so I think we can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill some place in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. I didn’t think that would happen.”

Travis was stunned.

“What did you expect to happen?” he asked Jason. “You’re such a fucking imbecile! Goddammit, Jason!”

Jason said he’s already filed an insurance claim with the hopes of getting a replacement.
