Again, does anyone imagine Macron urging the US to 'make gestures' and 'come into compliance to save the deal' if the US had been able to impose JCPOA compliant sanctions?

Does anyone imagine JT calling American JCPOA compliant sanctions 'violating the deal'?

But even though the language of the JCPOA is as clear that Iran can revert to the General Safeguards of the NNPT if the US and EU3 didn't come into compliance and still be following the JCPOA rules as it is that the US could have imposed sanctions if Iran hadn't made it to full compliance and still been following the JCPOA rules, the claim is being made, and treated as if it were valid by the media, that Iran, which unlike the US and EU3 did come into full and complete compliance (even Trump had to admit that) is somehow not in compliance because it did exactly what the JCPOA said it could.
