Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Sunday foreshadowed the crisis cabinet was finalising the details of the plan.

But 7NEWS can reveal it will likely be shared on Monday morning.

The plan will encompass what life looks like at and beyond 80 per cent vaccine coverage.

It will cover the next steps for both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents.

On the current trajectory, the state’s plan for 70 per cent coverage will begin on October 11.

The current expectation is that 80 per cent double dose coverage will be hit in the following week.

But one facet likely to be pushed back from 70 per cent double dose coverage to 80 is regional travel for Sydneysiders.

“We had foreshadowed it was likely to be at 70 per cent, it may very well be at 80 per cent,” Berejiklian said on Sunday.

“In New South Wales, it is definitely safe to book for Christmas and to think ahead for the future.”
