Rich Swann def. Eric Young—IMPACT World Championship

An IMPACT World Championship match kicked off this show and that’s not even the most-anticipated segment given how much they’ve built up John E. Bravo’s wedding.

Rich Swann is as shredded as he has ever been. He put on all that muscle knowing he was about to win the strap.

Rich Swann successfully defended the IMPACT World Championship wearing a hype beast belt.

Tommy Dreamer def. Brian Myers—Hardcore Halloween Match

Apparently Tommy Dreamer’s tribute to Road Warrior Animal wasn’t a one-off.

Dreamer still performed Dusty Rhodes’ signature elbow despite the fact that he no longer wears his gear.

Just when I was wondering whom Tommy Dreamer could perform the Doomsday Device with, Swoggle (or “Dillon,” as Brian Myers called him) crawled out of a trash can.

Brian Myers took a bump on thumbtacks mixed with candy corn, and I don’t care what anybody says, it looked delicious.

Brian Myers had so much momentum with five eliminations in the Call Your Shot Battle Royal, only to lose to veteran Tommy Dreamer with the help of Swoggle. Poor guy.

XXXL def. The Rascalz

Acey Romero lost 100 pounds, and boy did he move like it.

The Rascalz desperately need Rastafarian entrance music. Their current alt rock theme just doesn’t do this gimmick justice.

Dez has an excellent comeback.

Deonna Purrazzo Threatens Legal Action (Featuring Barrister R.D. Evans)

R.D. Evans was previously quitting (or possibly getting fired from) WWE in dramatic fashion as he is credited with writing a line for Bret Hart to thank Vince McMahon during his Hall of fame speech.

Pro wrestlers getting lawyers involved in their business is becoming all the rage in wrestling. Hopefully this becomes a theme outside of the ring too.

I was dying to see whom Su Yung would get to represent her, but instead these two will settle this in the ring.

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz def. Alisha Edwards and Jordynne Grace

Jordynne Grace was over partnering with Alisha Edwards in this match long before the bell even rang.

This (kayfabe) felt like a well-oiled machine against a tag team thrown together in a Lethal Lottery.

Jordynne Grace vs. Alisha Edwards makes a perfect feud because even though Grace is accustomed to intergender wrestling, Edwards is just as tough as a lot of men in wrestling after taking such vicious bumps from them over the past few weeks.

John E. Bravo and Rosemary’s Wedding

XXXL took the opportunity to wear a costume for the Halloween-season wedding, dressed appropriately as The Nasty Boys.

James Mitchell was on point from the first two words that came out of his mouth: “Barely beloved...”

Whoever wrote James Mitchell’s monologue deserves a raise. He made this segment. Was it Mitchell himself? R.D. Reynolds?

John E. Bravo recited a parody of The Adams Family, but when it came time to replace the words “Adams Family” with the perfectly congruent “Rosemary,” he instead chose the word “Gargoyle.”

This wedding ended in a “who shot Bravo?” whodunnit and I’m all for it. Taya Valkyrie—who dressed as Little Red Riding Hood, suspicious basket and all—figures to be an early suspect.
