Police Capture Blood-Covered Horses After Chaotic Race Through Central London

Blood-covered horses belonging to the Household Cavalry ran amok through central London Wednesday morning, injuring five and causing significant damage to vehicles before police finally subdued the animals.

The horses reportedly broke free during a morning exercise at Horseguards Parade in Whitehall before videos began circulating online showing the animals crashing into a London taxi and damaging a bus. The animals’ race through the city led them over three miles away from their starting point, with sightings reported as far as Shadwell.

A soldier was also severely injured in the incident, seen bleeding next to a damaged car as bystanders rushed to his aid.

The Metropolitan Police and Army personnel have since contained two of the horses near Limehouse.
