KUCHING (May 5): Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over several divisions in Sarawak as well as Sabah and Melaka until noon today, said the Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia).
In a warning issued at 9am, MetMalaysia said such bad weather conditions are expected to hit Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song) and Bintulu (Tatau).
Melaka and Sabah (Tawau and Kunak) are also expected to experience similar weather, added the department.
