MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department released the ages of the victims in an Orange Mound block party shooting over the weekend.

22-year-old Chalmar Fason and 17-year-old Antonio Humphrey were killed in the shooting. Seven others were injured.

17-year-old Humphreys was identified by his grandmother on Monday. MPD has confirmed that all of the hospitalized victims are in stable condition.

The Memphis Police Department responded to the park on Carnes Avenue near Mound Street at 7:19 p.m. Saturday night.

Interim Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis said between 200-300 people were attending a block party at the park. Davis said the party was happening without a permit.

Memphis Police originally reported that 16 people were shot but later stated that there were a total of nine victims.

Davis says police know of at least two suspects who opened fire during the block party. They also increased the reward amount for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
