We came up with our list of the top pitchers among the high school baseball and softball teams in search of the B.O.B. - the Best Of Battle Creek.

Then we asked you for your opinion in our Battle Creek Enquirer poll.

After all the votes were in, you have given us your answer.

According to the readers of the Enquirer, the B.O.B. — the Best Of Battle Creek among pitchers — is Trenton Fuller of Marshall in baseball and Jocelyn Hall of Athens in softball.

Here are the winning bios:

Fuller

Trenton Fuller

School: Marshall

Class: Senior

Why he is the best pitcher in Battle Creek area: A four-year varsity player, earned all-league honors in the Interstate 8 Conference as a sophomore and was also named to the Enquirer All-Area team. Set for a big senior season as the tall and sturdy hurler is a three-sport standout and will play football at Grand Valley State University in the fall.

Jocelyn Hall

Jocelyn Hall

School: Athens

Class: Sophomore

Why she is the best pitcher in the Battle Creek area: Missing out on her freshman year, Jocelyn Hall has had a breakout sophomore campaign as the main hurler for Athens with 62 strikeouts over the first six games. She has also contributed with the bat, hitting .476.

The Enquirer will continue to look at the B.O.B. for each position among high school baseball and softball teams in the coming weeks. Return on Thursday when we will vote on the best catchers in the area.
