High school student, 18, is arrested for kidnapping then raping 15-year-old girl in the bathroom on campus during class hours

A California high school student has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and raping a 15-year-old girl in a campus bathroom.

Reyvon English, 18, is accused of attacking the girl at Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley.

The victim was on campus for an after school club when she was assaulted in a restroom, police said.

The distraught teen immediately notified staff who called the cops. 

English, a fellow student, was arrested after turning himself in at the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station on April 18.

He was booked into San Diego Central Jail on rape, kidnapping, false imprionment and other charges related to the sexual assault. 

Prison records show he is being held without bail and is due to appear in court on April 22. 

Deputies with the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station have since stepped up their patrols of the area. 

The victim's details have not been released in accordance with the force's policies on protecting minors and the victims of sex crimes.

'The safety of our students is a priority for the Sheriff’s Department,' police said in a statement.
